Our Story

Gawu Foods was founded by Dr. Sena Agezo and Isaac Owusu, two Ghanaians driven by a shared vision to transform Africa’s agricultural value chain.

Isaac, from Techiman-Woraso and son of a cashew farmer, studied Business in the U.S. and realized the price gap in cashew exports. In 2024, a conversation between Isaac and Dr. Sena sparked Gawu Foods—a company committed to fair sourcing, local value creation, and global partnerships.

Their mission is to keep value where it’s grown, empower producers, and make trade ethical and impactful.
